Resource Planner - Plan Your Equipment Goals in The Forge Roblox

The Resource Planner is a comprehensive tool that helps you plan and track your long-term equipment goals in The Forge Roblox. Whether you're aiming for a specific weapon variant with optimal ore composition or building a complete armor set, this tool helps you manage resources efficiently and stay on track with your objectives.

What is Resource Planning?

Resource planning involves setting specific equipment goals and tracking the ore requirements needed to achieve them. Instead of crafting randomly, you can plan ahead, prioritize your goals, and efficiently gather the resources needed for your desired equipment configurations. This systematic approach helps you avoid wasting resources and ensures you're working towards meaningful objectives.

Key Features

  • Goal Setting: Create goals for specific weapon or armor variants with your desired ore compositions. Set priorities to focus on the most important objectives first.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor your progress toward each goal with visual progress bars and detailed statistics. See exactly how many ores you still need to complete each goal.
  • Resource Gap Analysis: Identify which ores you're missing and how many you need. The planner shows both missing and available resources at a glance.
  • Inventory Management: Track your current ore inventory and see how it compares to your goals. Update your inventory as you gather resources to see real-time progress.
  • Conflict Detection: The planner automatically detects when multiple goals require the same resources, helping you prioritize and plan accordingly.
  • Multi-Goal Management: Manage multiple goals simultaneously, each with its own priority level. Complete goals as you finish them to keep your list organized.

How to Use the Resource Planner

  1. Create Goals: Click "Create New Goal" to set up a new equipment goal. Select whether it's a weapon or armor goal, choose the class and variant, then configure your desired ore composition.
  2. Set Priorities: Assign priority levels (1-10) to your goals. Higher priority goals will appear first in your list and help you focus on what matters most.
  3. Track Inventory: Use the Inventory Management section to record your current ore counts. The planner will automatically calculate what you still need for each goal.
  4. Monitor Progress: Select a goal from the list to see detailed progress information, including progress percentage, remaining ores, and estimated completion time.
  5. Resolve Conflicts: If you see conflict warnings, review which goals are competing for the same resources and adjust your priorities or gather additional resources.
  6. Complete Goals: Mark goals as complete when you've crafted the equipment. Completed goals are moved to the bottom of the list and excluded from conflict calculations.

Planning Strategies

Priority-Based Planning: Assign higher priorities to goals that are more important to your playstyle. Focus on completing high-priority goals first to maximize your progress.
Resource Efficiency: Review resource conflicts to identify which goals share common ores. You can plan to gather resources that benefit multiple goals simultaneously.
Incremental Progress: Update your inventory regularly as you gather ores. The planner will automatically recalculate progress and show you what you still need.
Goal Completion: Mark goals as complete to keep your active list focused. You can always review completed goals, but they won't interfere with your active planning.

Understanding Resource Requirements

Each goal requires a specific number of ores based on the equipment class and variant. The planner automatically calculates the recommended ore count for each class, but you can customize the composition to match your preferences. The Resource Gap section shows exactly which ores you're missing and how many you need, making it easy to see what to focus on next.

Best Practices

  • Set realistic goals based on your current progress and available time
  • Update your inventory regularly to maintain accurate progress tracking
  • Review resource conflicts and adjust priorities to optimize resource usage
  • Focus on completing one or two high-priority goals at a time
  • Use the progress tracker to estimate how long it will take to complete goals
  • Mark goals as complete to keep your active list manageable
